EpiCor® is a postbiotic ingredient obtained from Saccharomyces cerevisiae through whole-cell fermentation followed by inactivation. It has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which issued a no-objection letter recognizing it as "Generally Recognized as Safe" (GRAS) (GRN 928). It is also Non-GMO Project Verified and is suitable for consumption as a food ingredient by children over 2 years old and adults.
